We have been discussing tactics for professional blogging in class, and now it is your turn to try out those new skills on our course blog. Pick between question #1 from page 136 of your textbook and question #8 on page 138. While the prompts assign a certain amount of text for your response, try to stay under ten sentences. Each question requires you to do a little research, so give yourself a few minutes online to complete this assignment. Remember to focus on purpose and tone.

Safe travel is very important, Here are a few safety tips that the Global management recommends to all employees;
1. If you don't do it at home don't do it when you travel.
2. Make a copy of your passport and keep it with you.
3. Keep a low profile.
4. Avoid wallets or purses. Keep just enough cash in a closed pocket.
5. Travel light.
6. Never leave any bags or luggage unattended.
7. Be attentive on the streets.
8. Try to relax and look like you belong wherever you are.
9. Lock your hotel room door at night.
10. Don't leave your itinerary lying around or discuss travel plans with strangers.
These tips are basics safety advice for employees as they travel. Please use common sense and remember to inform a family member or friend of your locations at all times. Safe travel begins with you.

Safety is one thing many people overlook while traveling. As the travel director of this firm, I feel the need to extend some basic tips to make your trip as safe as possible.
ReplyDelete1. Never list home addresses on luggage tags. Use your company address for business trips. If necessary use a tag cover for visiting friends.
2. Carry all important documents, identification, and currency with you at all times. Do not pack them in baggage that must be checked.
3. Stay with your baggage until it is checked in. Never leave it unattended. If it is necessary to put down, always keep one point of contact.
4. Keep money out of sight until you use it. Have the correct amount ready so you aren't counting it in public.
5. When traveling at night in an unknown city, always walk in a brightly lit area to avoid mugging.
6. Never use unmarked public transportation. Make sure a company name or phone number is listed on the vehicle.
These tips, along with some common sense, will make traveling more safe while on business trips or vacation.

ReplyDelete1. Never post on facebook, or other social medai sites, that you are leaving town. This is a good way to get robbed.
2. Always keep important documents with you, passport etc...
3. Know your travel itinerary, both coming and going.
4. Keep expensive jewelry and excess money at home, only take what is needed.
5. Always keep your cell phone on and with you.
6. Stay in areas that you are familiar with, or if you are not in areas that are populated and lit.
7. Keep your hotel room locked when you are not there and valuables locked up.
These and common sense will help in your travels.
