After reading the articles, I would have to agree with it. I have always been shown PowerPoints throughout high school and college. Sometimes they are useful and needed to clarify the subject at hand. On the other hand, I do not think that it is the best way to put forward information. The information does not always come off clear, and it does not allow for much conversation and discussion most of the time. A more audience-centered approach would be make each PowerPoint shown to different people from those high commanders to the people in Washington. The commanders are not going to want to see a whole bunch of statistics and charts, but maybe that is something people in Washington need to see. One group could be bored with the slides, but another may see it to be useful.
