Power Point Troyer

I don't agree with what Elisabeth says about PowerPoint. I believe that PowerPoint is a wonderful tool to use for any case you need to present something. Most studies show that people are visual learners and you can't just put a report in front of them and think they will read it. This is a technology that helps us from thinking of something else why we are reading. PowerPoint's can be a great tool if used correctly. I have used PowerPoint for years and I can say from experience that the 2007 version is better then the one before. Power points need to be informative but you don't have to have every little detail on there. Reading your PowerPoint's verbatim is very boring and not very encouraging. If you have to read from your PowerPoint's you didn't do your homework and memorize what the subject is you are talking about. Issues may arise from bad PowerPoint making, but you have to be trained for a presidential PowerPoint. You can't just hop on a computer and do a PowerPoint and think you have covered your tacks. You must understand what to put on a slide, how many slides to put in, and how to break it apart. Audiences want answers not a confusing picture slide. Make it simple and to the point and you will surely come out a winner.
