Issue #12

Brian Busick's entrepreneurial story is great because is isn't the classic and overemphasized rags to riches story of the unrealistically wealthy few, but a more attainable effort for many more. The ability to take risks in business is the prerequisite for success, but not just any risk. Taking calculated risks is key, and that goes beyond following your gut. It takes a good degree of business acumen, whether gained from experience or education. Brian had both. There are only so many Carnegie's, McDonald's, or Winfrey's, but there can be many, many Busicks.
