Politics and Privacy

I do not think a person's private life mixes with politics, work, or even school. Now that the digital age has made it easier for people's lives to be put on the internet, it will at some point hurt someone in the business and political world. I feel that a person's private life outside of what they do for a living should be kept off the internet. Even the random person from down the street, just average person can still be affected by things that get put on the internet. Businesses are now looking on the internet for dirt on people of the applicants who are applying for a position with them. I know some people say only certain things can be seen by certain people, but you never know who can post something without your knowledge. Anything personal and private, such as a sex tape, should not ever be posted, even if it is to get back at someone you used to be with or whatever the case may be. The fact that people are now posting these kinds of things is far fetched to me, but a political person trying to defend and actually say it has given them power is a little over the edge. Therefore, watch you make as they could come back to haunt you.
